Amazon Lightning Deal Not Showing in Cart? Fix It

An Amazon Lightning Deal may not appear in your cart if the promotional inventory sold out, the reservation timer expired, or the eligible item was not added directly from the deal page. Lightning Deal discounts are time-sensitive and typically remain reserved for only 15 minutes after you claim the offer.

Open your Amazon cart and look for a message indicating that the deal expired or the promotional quantity is no longer available. If your 15-minute checkout window ended, return to the deal page and claim the offer again if inventory remains.

The discount applies only to the exact product variation included in the promotion. Verify the seller, color, size, quantity, and model in your cart, then compare those details with the Lightning Deal listing before checking out.
Amazon may display the regular price in part of the cart while showing the promotional savings in the order summary. Proceed to the final checkout screen without placing the order and confirm that the Lightning Deal discount appears under the item subtotal.
Changing the item quantity, switching sellers, or moving the product between your cart and Saved for Later can remove the deal reservation. Delete the incorrect listing, refresh the Lightning Deals page, and add the qualifying item again through the deal button.
Take a screenshot of the active offer, cart, and checkout total before the timer expires, then contact Amazon Customer Service. For more details about reservation limits and promotional pricing, read the complete guide to how Amazon Lightning Deals work.
