How do I know if my senior dog is about to pass away?

You may notice your senior dog eating or drinking much less, struggling to stand or walk, sleeping almost all the time, withdrawing from familiar people, or losing interest in things they usually enjoy. Signs can include a sustained loss of appetite, increasing weakness, difficulty moving, withdrawal, confusion, and more days of discomfort than enjoyment.
